Incident Response Consultant

Job Summary

To support critical security operations, the full-time Mid-level Incident Response Consultant will investigate active security incidents, respond to cyber threats, and manage incident investigations remotely from New York, NY.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate security alerts from detection through containment, performing triage and log analysis
• Manage end-to-end incident investigations and escalate complex events while communicating with security leadership
• Document findings and remediation actions to support compliance and audit requirements

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in incident response, security operations, or SOC analyst roles
• Working knowledge of SIEM, EDR, log analysis, and threat detection techniques
• Ability to independently manage active investigations
