Incident Response Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Incident Response Engineer (Pacific time).

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and establish monitoring, alerting, and observability of services
• Identify root causes for incidents and prevent recurrence by coordinating with multiple teams
• Document actions in runbooks and automate processes using various scripting languages and tools

Required Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience as an SRE or Infra Backend in a SaaS environment
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Bash
• Experience with alerting and monitoring systems like DataDog, Splunk, or Prometheus
• Familiarity with cloud systems such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
