Incident Response Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Incident Response Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into high-severity threats and identify root causes
• Take immediate action to contain threats and restore normal operations
• Perform digital forensics to uncover indicators of compromise (IOCs)

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or system engineering
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and SOAR tools
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST IR Lifecycle
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience
