Job Summary
Joining a dedicated team focused on Incident Detection & Response, the full-time Incident Response Engineer will serve as a primary responder to security incidents, monitor and investigate security alerts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance incident response processes in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, triage, and investigate security incidents, ensuring timely responses to alerts
- Document and coordinate Incident Response processes while maintaining cybersecurity documentation and playbooks
- Conduct investigations using various systems and tools, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Cybersecurity certifications preferred
- 6+ years of experience in Cybersecurity with direct incident handling/response
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as MITRE ATT&CK and ITIL
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and automation frameworks is a plus
