Job Summary
A company is looking for an Incident Response Manager to support the Housing and Urban Development program.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate incident response functions, ensuring effective identification and remediation of cybersecurity incidents
- Analyze incidents, preserve evidence, and develop mitigation solutions while providing expert technical support to cyber defense technicians
- Monitor external data sources to stay updated on cyber defense threats and manage the collection of forensic evidence from enterprise systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Cyber Security or a related field, or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GCIH)
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident management and response
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
- Experience with Federal Incident Reporting requirements and the creation of after-action reviews/reports
- Proficient in analyzing network/system/security alerts and determining their causes
