Job Summary

Leading a high-performing Security Operations Center, the full-time Incident Detection/Response Manager will oversee Tier I, II, and III incident response operations, ensuring rapid detection, containment, and recovery of security incidents while working remotely in close proximity to the National Capital Region.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage daily SOC activities, including shift schedules and documentation updates
  • Coordinate containment, eradication, and recovery efforts during security incidents as the primary incident commander
  • Lead post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement in SOC processes and detection capabilities
Required qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • 8+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years in incident response and SOC operations
  • Active Public Trust 6c clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • At least one relevant certification such as GCIH, GCFA, or GREM
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and malware analysis tools
