Indiana GIS Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting data-driven decision-making, the remote contract Indiana GIS Coordinator will manage GIS project deliverables, engage with stakeholders, and conduct geospatial analysis related to public health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and partners to support geospatial data management and public health preparedness activities
• Manage project deliverables and deadlines while tracking performance metrics and ensuring effective communication
• Develop and maintain geospatial datasets and web-based GIS applications to facilitate data visualization and analysis

Required qualifications

• Experience in geospatial analysis and data management, particularly in a public health context
• Familiarity with GeoAI technologies or a demonstrated ability to learn and apply these methodologies
• Proficiency in GIS software and statistical analysis packages
• Strong project management skills, including organization and communication
• Ability to create and maintain accurate geospatial datasets and workflows
