Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant to support Indiana's Rural Health Transformation Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly appropriation reports for accuracy and compliance with federal financial reporting requirements
• Process journal entries and manage fiscal approvals for requisitions and purchase orders related to assigned funds
• Engage with Program Directors and Managers to review financial data and ensure proper management of grants and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Understanding of Governmental Accounting and federal budgeting policies
• Experience with Encompass modules
• Ability to provide guidance on grant expectations and financial operations
• Knowledge of audit standards and financial compliance requirements
