Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment Counselor (Remote 7a-5p/Full-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient involvement in treatment and education through individual, group, and family counseling
• Conducts mental health assessments and provides therapeutic intervention for discharge planning
• Acts as a liaison for child and adult protective services and addresses issues of abuse and neglect

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Relevant degree in behavioral health or a related field
• Experience in counseling or crisis assessment
• Knowledge of mental health resources and community services
• Ability to assess psychosocial risk factors and support systems
• Familiarity with legal aspects of guardianship and protective services
