Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment Counselor (FT Remote - 2pm - 12am).

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient involvement in treatment and education through individual, group, and family counseling
• Conducts mental health assessments and provides therapeutic interventions for complex discharge planning
• Acts as a liaison for child and adult protective services and addresses issues related to abuse and neglect

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Relevant degree in behavioral health or a related field
• Experience in counseling and crisis assessment
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
• Understanding of psychosocial risk factors and mental health issues
