Indiana Licensed Bodily Injury Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing claims team, the full-time remote Indiana Licensed Bodily Injury Specialist will conduct investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements for bodily injury claims.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and conducts investigations to assess coverage and liability for claims
• Completes Bodily Injury Evaluation forms and compiles information for claims committee discussions
• Evaluates claims for potential fraud and collaborates with the Special Investigations Unit as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree or higher in a related field is preferred
• At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
• Minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
• Must currently hold or have the ability to secure and maintain adjuster license(s) within 60 days of employment
• Knowledge of applicable insurance statutes, regulations, and case law
