Job Summary
To provide comprehensive mental health care, an Indiana Licensed Child Psychiatrist will deliver evidence-based treatment through virtual 60-minute video appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations and managing medication for a diverse patient population on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies for various mental health conditions
- Engage families in the treatment process and provide guidance on mental health issues and care planning
Required qualifications:
- Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state
- Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment preferred
- Proficiency in computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets)
- Demonstrated skills in family engagement and experience with children, adolescents, and young adults
- Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework
