Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts and initiate contact with debtors to discuss outstanding debts
• Document all collection activities and provide exceptional customer service to debtors
• Utilize skip tracing techniques to locate debtors who have changed contact information

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields preferred
• 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles
• Basic computing skills and ability to obtain required license for collecting upon placement
• Proficiency in using collections software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with debt collection laws and compliance requirements
