Job Summary
To recover losses from assigned accounts, the full-time Indiana Licensed Collections Specialist will manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, initiating contact with debtors and documenting collection activities in a hybrid work environment, spending two days per week onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts and initiate contact with debtors through various communication methods
- Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to debtors, addressing inquiries and negotiating payment arrangements
Required qualifications
- Must possess an Indiana Collections Specialist license upon placement
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields preferred
- 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles, preferably in a financial environment
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to communicate effectively with debtors
- Basic computing skills and familiarity with collections software and CRM systems
