Job Summary
Providing telephonic support as a first responder, the full-time Indiana Licensed Crisis Counselor will deliver compassionate emotional support, conduct risk assessments, and offer crisis intervention services while working remotely from Indiana.
Key responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
- Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and urgent safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively while navigating multiple software systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
- Indiana residency required for remote work
- Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space for HIPAA compliance
- Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training program is required for continued employment
