Indiana Licensed Deaf Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing using appropriate communication methods
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with Indiana standards and IDEA
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, evaluations, and ongoing data collection

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of onsite experience supporting DHH students
• Proficient in ASL and/or other communication approaches used by students
• Strong comfort level with digital tools and remote instruction platforms
• Dedicated workspace and reliable internet connection for virtual instruction
