Indiana Licensed Dental Director

Job Summary

Leading dental activities, the part-time Indiana Licensed Dental Director will oversee service verification, manage clinical knowledge in authorization decisions, and implement programs to improve oral health utilization in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evaluate processes to optimize dental service usage and reduce no-show rates
• Conduct utilization reviews and track quality of care issues related to dental services
• Educate provider agencies on accessing dental benefits for eligible populations

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited program
• 10+ years of clinical dental practice experience
• 3+ years of experience in an insurance or benefits administration setting
