Job Summary
To support the Indiana eSchool Academy, the full-time salaried Indiana Licensed K-8 Interventionist will deliver targeted, data-driven reading and mathematics interventions to K-8 students in a remote environment, collaborating with teachers to identify learning gaps and monitor student progress.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, small-group and individualized reading and mathematics interventions aligned with student needs
- Analyze assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instructional plans accordingly
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align interventions with core instruction and communicate student progress
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Reading, Mathematics, Special Education, or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred
- Valid Indiana teaching license appropriate for the grade level(s) and content area(s) served
- A minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching experience in reading, mathematics, or elementary education
- Demonstrated experience in a virtual or online teaching environment
- Strong understanding of the Indiana Academic Standards for English/Language Arts and Mathematics across K-8 grade levels
