Indiana Licensed Lead Substation Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for substation projects, the full-time Indiana Licensed Lead Substation Engineer will oversee engineering and design deliverables for electric substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards while working remotely from the greater Indianapolis area.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams in the design and execution of substation projects
• Create and review electrical protection & control and physical design deliverables
• Act as project lead or independent reviewer, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant codes and standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of Substation Physical or Protection & Control Design experience
• Professional Engineer registration strongly preferred
• Proficiency with NESC, IEEE, and other relevant codes and standards
• Experience in creating and reviewing substation design drawings
