Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant II-PRN for the Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care and clinical direction under supervision
• Ensure completeness of ordered procedures, treatments, and maintain patient flow
• Handle registration, scheduling, and maintain EMR files while performing front office functions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from a Medical Assistant program required
• Current certification in medical assisting from recognized organizations
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required; advanced life support certifications may be needed
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, ADA, ICD-10, and CPT coding required
• Ability to master standard clinical competencies as per current policies
