Job Summary
To support K-12 students in a virtual environment, the part-time Indiana Licensed Occupational Therapist will evaluate therapy needs, develop individualized education plans, and implement therapeutic services to enhance student engagement and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students to determine therapy needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Implement individualized occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills and functional performance
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate therapy goals into daily school activities
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure and certification appropriate for school settings
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a school setting, not including the internship year
- Ability to design and implement school-based therapy programs as needed
- Working knowledge of virtual tools and platforms for data tracking and communication
- Schedule flexibility and interest in working across time zones
