Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support the growth of specialty pharmacy services, the remote Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician will make outbound calls to eligible patients, educate them about the pharmacy program, and ensure confidentiality of information while working flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively engage with patients over the phone to promote the Shields Partner Pharmacy program
• Review patient EMRs prior to calls to understand their conditions and needs
• Identify necessary supplies and medications requiring special handling for patients

Required qualifications

• Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician with 0-1 years of related experience
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or PTCB/ExCPT License preferred
• Ability to obtain national certification (PTCB or ExCPT) within six months of hire
• Strong verbal communication skills and experience in customer service or outbound calls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
