Job Summary
To support a growing team, the part-time Indiana Licensed Reproductive Psychiatrist will provide clinical consultation and mentorship to nurse practitioners, focusing on complex case consultations and psychopharmacology specific to reproductive health in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultation and mentorship to a panel of nurse practitioners, ensuring high-quality care for complex cases
- Host regular group case consultation sessions to discuss higher-acuity cases with the NP team
- Oversee prescribing practices and provide asynchronous consultation on psychopharmacologic questions related to reproductive psychiatry
Required qualifications
- MD or DO, board-certified in Psychiatry, with additional training in reproductive/perinatal psychiatry preferred
- Active DEA registration and unrestricted medical license in Indiana
- Clinical experience treating perinatal and menopause-related mood and anxiety disorders
- Comfort with a fully remote consultation model
- Prior experience supervising or collaborating with psychiatric nurse practitioners preferred
