Job Summary

To support an expanding practice, the full-time Senior Retirement Plan Benefits Administrator will manage key client relationships, oversee compliance and administration tasks, and contribute to all phases of retirement plan administration, primarily focusing on 401(k) plans, in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Administer key or large clients and assist with annual audits
  • Review and interpret plan documents to ensure compliance with DOL and IRS requirements
  • Calculate and allocate annual employer contributions, perform compliance testing, and prepare annual valuation and Form 5500 filings
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with qualified retirement plan administration, preferably as a Third Party Administrator
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) credentials through ASPPA
  • Solid understanding of recordkeeping software and compliance testing/reporting
  • Experience with balance forward and daily valuation plans
