Indiana Licensed Risk Placement Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Select Business Unit's New Business team, the full-time Indiana Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will evaluate, market, negotiate, and place new commercial insurance business opportunities, working closely with insurance carriers and internal partners in a hybrid or remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms and obtain quotes directly from insurance carriers while ensuring adherence to service model standards
• Build and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• Knowledge of E&S Marketplace coverage is required
• P&C License required; advanced industry designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) are a plus
