Indiana Licensed Risk Placement Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Select Business Unit's New Business team, the full-time Indiana Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will evaluate, market, negotiate, and place commercial insurance new business opportunities while working hybrid or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial insurance submissions, evaluate risk exposures, and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms and secure competitive quotes by working directly with insurance carriers
• Develop productive business relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners to facilitate the placement process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• Experience with E&S Marketplace coverage is required
• P&C License required; advanced industry designation(s) (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) a plus
