Job Summary

Scheduling surgical procedures and medical appointments, the full-time Indiana Licensed Scheduler will work in a hybrid environment, primarily remotely with one in-office day per week, ensuring optimal utilization of patient facilities and coordinating with various departments.

Key responsibilities

• Schedules surgical procedures, diagnostic tests, and therapy services accurately and timely
• Coordinates scheduling with other departments and maintains related records and documentation
• Ensures compliance with written orders and may perform charge audit functions for the department

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills are necessary
• General knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required
• Medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and Cerner scheduling preferred
