Indiana Licensed Sign Language Interpreter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to provide virtual interpreting services for K12 students in Indiana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time ASL interpretation during virtual classroom instruction and school-related activities
• Facilitate clear communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, educators, and peers
• Support IEP implementation and accurately document service delivery

Qualifications:

• EIPA score of 3.5+ or current certification through RID or NIC
• Previous experience working in K12 educational settings (virtual experience preferred)
• Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
• Knowledgeable in educational interpreting standards and student-centered practices
• Access to reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and headset
