Job Summary
Delivering engaging virtual instruction in social studies to middle school students, the full-time salaried Indiana Licensed Social Studies Teacher will develop curriculum, facilitate interactive lessons, and foster a positive learning environment while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and adapt social studies curriculum materials aligned to Indiana state standards for grades 9-12
- Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual lessons using various instructional strategies
- Monitor student academic performance and provide targeted support and intervention as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid Indiana teaching certificate with endorsement in Social Studies or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in secondary education
- Strong knowledge of social studies content for grades 9-12, including history, geography, civics, and economics
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite in a professional or academic setting
