Job Summary
Detail-oriented and motivated, the fully remote Indiana Licensed Subrogation Paralegal will manage subrogation claims from inception to resolution, draft legal documents, and collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials and mediations.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently handle a large number of pending subrogation files, prioritizing tasks and tracking deadlines
- Collaborate with attorneys to discuss case details and formulate legal strategies for pursuing subrogation claims
- Gather and organize documents and evidence for cases, preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the minimum qualifications for paralegals as defined by applicable state law
- 0-2 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on subrogation, insurance defense, or civil litigation preferred
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
- Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
