Indiana Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Payroll Accountant to support their payroll accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline and resolve variances
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting with exposure to payroll operations and general ledger accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline or similar ERP platforms
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance, including US federal and state requirements; Canadian payroll experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• CPA or CPP designation is a plus
