Indiana Workers' Compensation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Specialist Accounts Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and submit Workers' Compensation claims accurately and timely
• Conduct follow-up on outstanding WC claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Research denials and rejections; prepare and submit appeals or corrected claims when necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Workers' Compensation billing and AR follow-up
• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Indiana Workers' Compensation regulations and payers
• Experience working with third-party WC administrators and state-specific WC portals
• Proficiency with EHR/EMR and practice management systems (e.g., Athena, Citrix)
