Indirect Category Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Indirect Category Specialist to support and lead sourcing events across various indirect categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead low-medium complexity RFx projects from intake through supplier selection and savings validation
• Conduct supplier negotiations and support reverse auction events as applicable
• Analyze spend and supplier data to develop business case recommendations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or category management
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa)
• Foundational understanding of procurement principles
