Indirect Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Indirect Procurement Specialist, the full-time remote position will negotiate and acquire materials, scientific equipment, and services to meet operational needs while fostering supplier relationships and driving cost-effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Source and negotiate competitive cost solutions for requests, ensuring quality and delivery requirements are met
• Evaluate vendor services and quotes to identify desirable suppliers and resolve any discrepancies
• Develop category strategies and provide strategic insights on supplier risks while utilizing data to drive decisions

Required qualifications

• 4-year degree in business or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant supply chain experience
• Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Advanced knowledge of standard purchasing and negotiating practices
