Industrial Automation Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Industrial Automation Technician to support automation operations in Elgin, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair computer-controlled systems and robotic devices
• Provide immediate response to equipment malfunctions and perform scheduled maintenance
• Install, configure, and commission new robotic systems and production equipment

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation or technician role
• Associate's Degree in Automation Technology, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, computers, and automated systems
• Experience with automation software and control systems
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted and 50 lbs assisted
