Industrial Contracts Associate

Job Summary

Providing essential support to Stanford faculty, the full-time Industrial Contracts Associate will draft and negotiate material transfer and other research-related agreements while managing a diverse caseload of agreements with various sponsors in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate material transfer agreements and research-related contracts
• Maintain a caseload of agreements with industry, non-profit, and government sponsors
• Communicate regularly with faculty and staff to ensure timely and professional service

Required qualifications

• Experience in negotiating contracts and agreements, particularly in a research or academic setting
• Familiarity with material transfer agreements and related legal terms
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple agreements simultaneously
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory issues in research agreements
• Relevant educational background in law, business, or a related field
