Industrial Controls Engineer

Job Summary

To support data center equipment, the contract Industrial Controls Engineer will work remotely for a duration of 6 months, focusing on developing and executing sequences of operation, HMI development, and testing compliance with product specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to efficient and reliable sequences of operation for data center equipment and systems
• Complete assigned tasks within the controls team and assist in developing sequences of operations aligned with company objectives
• Develop test plans and scripts for performance testing, while identifying opportunities to enhance controls strategies in the data center market

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in controls design and implementation
• Working knowledge of HVAC/data center controls strategies and relevant industry regulations
• Proficiency in Siemens PLC and HVAC software systems
• Strong ability to review schematics and P&ID drawings, with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
