Industrial Designer

Job Summary

To support a consumer healthcare client, the ongoing contract Industrial Designer will translate conceptual designs into tangible models, manage a prototyping lab, and collaborate with other designers and engineers while working remotely in the EST time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to create 3D printed prototypes and mock-ups for evaluation and development
• Support Industrial Design projects with 2D ideation and develop creative solutions during the prototyping phase
• Ensure quality control and safety compliance while using tools and machinery for model-making

Required qualifications

• A degree or certification in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience creating products in the beauty or skin care space
• Previous experience in a model-making or prototyping role
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment
• Experience with Solidworks, 3D printer software, and Adobe Suite
