Industrial Designer

Job Summary

To support a consumer healthcare client, the ongoing contract Industrial Designer will work remotely to translate conceptual designs into tangible models, manage the prototyping lab, and collaborate with designers and engineers on product development.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to create 3D printed prototypes and mock-ups for evaluation and development
• Support Industrial Design projects through 2D ideation and physical stimulus while addressing design challenges
• Ensure quality control and safety compliance while selecting appropriate methods for model building based on design requirements

Required qualifications:

• A degree or certification in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience creating products in the beauty or skin care space
• Previous experience in model-making or prototyping roles
• Proficiency with materials and techniques such as 3D printing, casting, and molding
• Experience with Solidworks, 3D printer software, and Adobe Suite
