Industrial Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary

Providing high-level technical support, the full-time Industrial Technical Support Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical and software faults in industrial coding and marking systems, primarily working remotely with selective on-site assistance in the Grand Rapids, MI or Dallas, TX area.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnosing complex faults on production-critical equipment and providing escalation-level remote support
• Supporting industrial printers and coders integrated into automated manufacturing lines
• Collaborating with Engineering, R&D, and Quality teams to resolve systemic product issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in Engineering (Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics, Controls, or related field)
• Minimum experience supporting industrial or production equipment in a technical engineering capacity
• Proven hands-on experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical machinery and embedded control systems
• Working knowledge of PLC integration, digital and analogue I/O, sensors, and actuators
• Experience diagnosing industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP)
