Industry Product Director

Job Summary

Owning industry strategy and commercialization for a major industry, the full-time remote Industry Product Director will manage P&L health, lead a team of PM Builders, and drive customer engagement while addressing market timing, regulatory shifts, and AI disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Define and set the industry strategy and growth thesis, converting complexity into clear value pools
• Own the integrated industry roadmap and investment priorities, aligning them with customer pain points and business impact
• Drive commercialization efforts by shaping pricing, packaging, and market feedback loops to enhance customer engagement

Required qualifications

• Typically 12+ years in product, industry solutions, or portfolio leadership in software or SaaS, with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years with a Master's degree
• Proven experience in owning industry strategy and P&L outcomes, demonstrating executive presence and customer-facing credibility
• Broad expertise across a major industry and recognized as a go-to voice on the vertical
• Demonstrated people-management experience, managing teams in goal-setting and performance management
• A track record of resolving significant industry issues related to market timing, regulatory shifts, and AI disruption
