Job Summary
To support the research community, the full-time Industry Research Agreements Coordinator will manage the review, negotiation, and execution of sponsored project agreements funded by industry partners, while providing superior customer service and participating in training initiatives, all within a fully remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Review, edit, negotiate, and execute various sponsored project agreements, ensuring compliance with OHSU policies and protecting intellectual property rights
- Provide exceptional customer service and subject matter expertise to internal and external contacts, effectively communicating with sponsors on behalf of OHSU
- Participate in training initiatives for departmental staff and contribute to policy modifications to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Required qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR an Associate's degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology with two years of experience; OR four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to obtain OHSU signature authority for specified contract types within six months of hire
- Demonstrated analytical skills to understand and synthesize contract guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and track rapid status-checks
- Thorough understanding of budgeting principles and procedures
