Job Summary
To support the Department of War's audiology programs, the full-time remote Information Assurance Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert will manage cybersecurity efforts, ensuring compliance with DoDI 8510.01 and NIST standards while performing ISSO duties and developing security solutions throughout the system lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Perform Information System Security Officer (ISSO) duties to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systems
- Manage the Authority to Operate (ATOs) process, including risk assessments, continuous monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures in accordance with NIST publications and DISA STIGs
Required qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience with the DoW RMF lifecycle implementation
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity management, computer science, or a related field
- Certifications: Security+
- Proficient in the eMASS system and experience with vulnerability mitigation techniques
- Prior experience in completing the RMF ATO process, including artifact creation and POA&M records
