Information Assurance Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Assurance Security Analyst responsible for applying cybersecurity principles to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance with security regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain security controls in the annual System Security Plan according to NIST guidelines
• Coordinate with teams to manage security documentation and respond to audit requests
• Conduct security assessments and develop reports based on operational metrics and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience and certifications
• Knowledge of FISMA requirements and NIST guidelines
• Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles
• Experience with patch and vulnerability management processes and tools
