Information Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the National Institute of Nursing Research's modernization efforts, the full-time Information Engineer Level I will analyze and improve data processes, workflows, and Microsoft 365 solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams, primarily in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and user research to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Analyze and document existing business processes, recommending opportunities for modernization and automation
- Develop and maintain information architecture and support the modernization of NINR's intranet environment
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in information engineering, business analysis, or related IT disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365
- Experience in developing information architecture and conducting content audits
- U.S. citizenship
