Information Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring the stability and efficient operation of information systems, the full-time remote Information Operations Specialist will monitor, maintain, and optimize networking systems, while providing support for LAN and WAN issues and managing network equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage routers, switches, VLANs, and security systems to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance
• Provide remote and on-site support for escalated issues, troubleshooting network problems effectively
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration and performance statistics

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-4 years of experience with firewall systems, routers, switches, and networking protocols
• Knowledge of design, implementation, and maintenance of network solutions and systems
• Experience with tools such as SolarWinds Orion, AWS, and Microsoft Active Directory
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
