Information Operations Specialist
Job Summary
Leading advanced field engineering and technical operations, the full-time Senior Specialist, Information Operations will ensure reliable and efficient operation of enterprise network infrastructure and clinical technologies across healthcare facilities, with a focus on on-site support and travel in the Greater Washington, D.C. Area.
Key responsibilities
- Manage routers, switches, and network configurations to establish connectivity and ensure system reliability
- Provide remote and on-site support for escalated issues, troubleshooting LAN and WAN problems effectively
- Assist in the design and maintenance of corporate LAN, WAN, and security systems to minimize downtime
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4-6 years' experience with firewall systems and network technologies including LAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP
- Hands-on experience with GE ultrasound systems and coordinating equipment repairs
- Knowledge of network management tools such as SolarWinds Orion and AWS
- Ability to conduct research on systems issues and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
