Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain system security plans (SSP) and related documentation in accordance with federal guidelines and regulations for federal contracts
• Perform regular security audits to assess the effectiveness of implemented controls
• Stay up to date on federal information security requirements, specifically Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information security or a related field strongly preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security with a focus on federal systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) requirements preferred
• Knowledge of federal security regulations and standards including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification preferred
