Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of the organization, the full-time remote Information Security Analyst will protect on-premise and cloud infrastructure, manage security tools, and conduct advanced threat detection and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize security tools to improve alert accuracy and detection of suspicious activities
• Perform advanced threat detection and incident response, including in-depth analysis of security incidents
• Regularly assess system vulnerabilities and recommend security solutions for compliance and risk management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in a hands-on cybersecurity role, with at least 3 years as a SOC Analyst or Incident Responder
• Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
• Experience performing vulnerability assessments and prioritizing remediation efforts
• Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or equivalent certification
