Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the full-time remote Information Security Analyst will monitor and respond to security events, participate in incident response, and collaborate on improvements in SOC workflows and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in incident response, triage, and investigations for security events including malware and phishing
• Create incident and threat reports, and update SOC documentation in collaboration with the Security Operations team
• Support threat hunting and intelligence efforts, including automation and SOC AI workflows

Required qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4 years of security experience or equivalent training and education
• Knowledge of computing systems, data network communications, and network architecture
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and query languages (Yara-L, CQL, SPL, etc.)
• Preferred scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python or PowerShell
